Wood is a product of nature, and as such, no two pieces are alike to start with, while the same wood growing in different locales can vary greatly even though it is the exact same species.

Great color, finishes beautifully
Have and will continue to buy this.
This order the wood was a rich dark walnut. Size is always consistent.
Altho expensive, the walnut is easy to use, with great quality.
The pieces I recieved were very nice.
One piece out of the two I ordered was straight grained while the other was highly figured almost like "claro walnut". It would have been better if both were color and grain matched for me before it was sent.
board is bowed; for the price I'd have thought it to be higher quality merchandise. I hope I can cut around it and still have enough for my project
