Excellent little bullet catch
An excellent bullet catch for inset cabinet doors. Quality material and workmanship, and when properly installed, gives a very easy, but satisfying latch to your cabinet door. Only drawbacks are the unusual diameter (which requires an 11/32" brad point or forstner bit - not a usual size) and the fact that there are no installation instructions (which could be a problem for the novice). Tip for installing: carefully drill 3/8" diameter hole with a flat bottom (brad point or forstner) bit in scrap until you have the exact depth you need (both ball and catch should be in the wood flush with the barrel edge). The catch will pop right out of the 3/8" hole as you close in on the right depth. When you've got the depth you need, use the hole to set a depth collar precisely on your 11/32" bit. A 3/32" clearance between door and frame then gives a perfect close.
