Make Your Own Tiny Treasures Box with Woodcraft Magazine's Downloadable Plans!
I developed this small treasure for a class several years ago. I wanted to show students that you could take a relatively simple rectangular box and make it more sophisticated by shaping the sides after assembly. Starting with a rectangle keeps the joinery straightforward. Then the key to success is to make the shaping cuts in the proper order so you don’t cut away your reference surfaces before you’re finished with them. The corners are joined with box joints.

Very nice box and easy to build.
Nice simple project to use up some of those left over pieces of wood laying around the shop. The plans were well written and easy to follow.

Not a good plan
This planbis no where near as it looks on the cover..its only about a 2x3 box and the plans are way off..unless you can read between the lines or are very good..this box isnt for you
