Not so great
I bought this tool with high hopes, but honestly I find myself reaching for my cheapo spindle gouge from a dirt cheap set I bought years ago. This is a beautiful tool but it just doesn't take or hold and edge that well. It is also very easy to overheat the steel when sharpening. I don't think I will be buying any more Sorby tools
