Details

Robert Sorby® 332 Sash Mortise Chisels are essential tools for furniture making and joinery. The extended, narrow profile that makes them ideal for cutting into tight corners or hard-to-reach places other different types of chisel cannot reach. The sharp edge allows the user to easily cut into wood at precise angles, creating perfect mortises.

Each 332 Sash Mortise Chisel is a combination of the Sorby 331 Sash Mortise Chisel Blade and an unbreakable CAB (plastic) handle. Each blade features side relief, making it easier to remove stock in combination with the CAB handle that can take a hit when doing heavy stock removal. Like all Sorby cutting tools, each chisel is tested for diamond hardness prior to leaving the factory with a lifetime guarantee from Robert Sorby.

Features:
  • Ideal for furniture making and joinery
  • Useful for levering out waste wood in locks, hinges and tenons

    Great at what it does

I have been using Sorby chisels for almost 20 years. They've never let me down. This tool is no exception. I bought this tool at my local woodcraft store, brought it home and began making mortises with it. I've made about 6 now and this thing works great! If you're someone that knows how to use fine tools properly and, like me, you sometimes enjoy making your own mortises by hand, and I do, you will love this tool.
