Good enough for what it is for
If you are looking for a single tool for a complete range of sanding jobs, this is not the tool. It has limitations. I find that it works well with 100 grit or higher and light pressure when all you want to do is remove scratches from coarse sandpaper. If you need to remove wood to eliminate torn out grain on the inside or outside of a bowl with 80 grit or lower, the pressure required causes the pad to break down prematurely.

poor durability and to pricey
to costly for the quality

Way too expensive.
I would rather throw the Sandmaster away than spend[$] every time I need to replace the 2" sanding pad. Wish I had looked at the replacement cost before purchasing the tool. This is a really bad deal.

Effectice sanding pad with a short lifes
The Sorby sanding pad works fine when a small radius sander is needed. My only complaint is that after amout one month the hook&Loop paper would no longer stick to the sanding pad. At first I tried several different pieces of sandpaper, but they also woould not stick. I then realized the sanding pad lost its holding effectiveness. For [$] I expect more. I just ordered another one because it is useful but not durable
