    Not so good

The denim may be ok, but the straps are just weird. Not the normal neck strap and separate waist straps. Easy enough to modify modify, but the included straps may cut into your neck as they are very narrow.

    poor workmanship

I've had jobs that required laundry service aprons, and this isn't even close to commercial quality. The stitches are crooked, intersecting seams aren't backstitched. The straps looked like somebody tried to save a few cents on adding a separate neck strap, by saying you could cross them and tie behind your back. This isn't how aprons work. It should take about three seconds to put on an apron, and this one is like getting into a fall harness. I really can't think of anything good to say about this.

    Good idea--poorly put together

Very unhappy with the fit of the ties. The tape supplied is not in keeping with the quality of the products you represent. Too bad, the idea is good,

    Nicely made

Is a great cover-up for shop projects. Length and durability are good. Ties seem a bit clumsy.

    Meets all needs

Good overall quality and coverage. I replaced the supplied ties with a pair of heavy duty suspenders for a better fit and more rugged support.

    Not worth the money...

I expected a heavier material, with ties that most people could use. Ok I need to lose weight, however I went to [@] and bought an apron for BBQ that cost $12, the material is heavier than the denim in Woodcraft's apron, the design was perfect allowing for complete adjust ability, plus plenty of draw string that is at least 3 times the weight woodcrafts draw string. The design lacks, if you have broad shoulders/chest there is a lot of your chest at the shoulders uncovered. The same with the overall width, I think it needs to go around the sides more, however I have a fat [*], and some may think I need a tent.Do I send it back or just give it to my son?

    I have several

I work for a Foundry Pattern Shop as a journeyman patternmaker and it's probably the most abusive scenario these aprons will be used in. They hold up well. I like the swing pencil pockets so I don't have to pick up pens and scales everytime I bend over, and it's high enough that I don't worry about the jointer or table saws.

    Great. Heavy duty.

I constantly mis-lay my pencils, tapes, and etc. now I just put them in pockets of apron.

You get what you pay for

This apron is poorly designed and not very useful. It has very poor ties & a small pocket. Wish I had let someone else buy it. Not like most products from Woodcraft.

    Old Standby

I resent making the comments field mandatory. If you want my feedback, make the form easy to use the way I want to use it. If I choose to skip a field, so be it.

    Old Reliable

Two improvements would help; better draw-ties and a heavier guage lower pocket my tape measure etc. wears through eventually. Love the loose/swinging upper pocket best I've found.

Not what I was looking for

I wear shop aprons because the shop in is our home and I like to go upstairs for coffee and lunch. Taking off and leaving the apron in the shop leaves a lot of sawdust and wood chips in the shop. Instead of a loop around the neck and a tie in back like a cook's apron, however, this apron has cross strings in the rear which make it very cumbersome to put on.

    Practical and good value

Works well for general antique furniture restoration work. Comfortable, easy to work in. Moderate protection, not the best for stripping. Cords need large knots at the ends to keep them from slipping through the grommets. This makes them difficult to tie behind your back.

Denim great...sash and neck sash junk.

It's too bad a great product is ruined by something as simple as the 'sashes' that tie around the waist and neck. I threw them away and use some extra straps I has in the shop. Pockets are great and the multiple pencil pockets very functional.

    Good value

Would be nice to have a second front pocket at hip level - on the left side, but still a high quality, durable apron at a reasonable price.

    Nice apron....minor problems

Pros: Good quality material, good coverage Cons: Strings unravel, awkward to tie over the shoulder. Separate neck strap and longer waist ties to tie in front, or snap clips on end of strings to attach to neck holes would make it much easier to put on.

    Good for the price

It is a good buy for the price. The denim apron itself seems well made. The straps, however, were not of high quality and do not come attached to the apron. You may have to replace the straps with something better, but the apron itself should serve you well.

    A light weight denim apron

There was a great sale on when I bought this, so for the money it was a great deal.

    Apron

I use the apron in my wood carving activities. It keeps the sawdust off my clothing.

    Nice apron but flimsy straps

I had to cut the strap in half and not cross at back for it to work for me. Maybe it's my beer belly.

    Denim Apron Blues

Was disappointed with this purchase. The apron was lighter duty than I anticipated. The string are not attached and need to be melted on the ends to keep from fraying. Relatively uncomfortable tie design some sort of cross your back back looping that is hard to use. This product could be mush better with a denim neck loop and tie. Good for glueing projects - no real protection.

    Heavy duty apron

I bought this apron to apply finishes to wood without having to change my clothes. The fabric is very tough. Not sure how well the straps are going to last long term. Also, I'm only 5'6" and it is rather long on me. It is comfortable enough that I forget I'm wearing it. Can't beat the price I got on sale. Made in USA!
