Due to the nature of wood movement, shrinkage and expansion are possible. Please measure each piece carefully before starting any project.
Wood is a product of nature, and as such, no two pieces are alike to start with, while the same wood growing in different locales can vary greatly even though it is the exact same species.
Thin Stock. The thin stock is cut to size from quality, kiln-dried stock. Dimensions are +/- 1/8" of size listed.
Carving and Turning Blocks. Blocks are sawn to +/- ¼" of size listed.
Plywood. Sizes are nominal. Dimensions are +/- 1/8" of size listed.

Very nice wood
Very nice wood. Just over 7/8" thick, well finished two sides, jointed one edge and straight ripped (though slightly rough) the other edge. Very straight and true. Came as two 48" long x 7 1/2" boards and three 36" x 7" wides boards. All but one board is very nice purple color. One board is dull brown. Hopefully some AV exposure will bring out more purple in it. The other boards are very colorful. One large knot in the middle side of one board. The few other knots are small, very tight and unabtrusive. I use to add contrast to segmented woodturning, so 10BF goes a long way. Perfect for my needs.

I got the size I asked for but,
I asked for quarter sawn material to prevent warp in my project. This material is niece and flat (with one exception)and flat sawn. I will slice them up and glue the strips back together to make it vertical grained stock. Nice looking material that looks even better under finish.
