    Well Worth It!

    I own a variety of Pfeil carving tools(64 to be exact)and there is no substitute. When I first started carving I struggled due to the tools available(pre-internet era), but once I discovered Pfeil's carving tools my carving went to a new level. The only advice I would give is to own great sharpening equipment(1000 & 4000 Shapton glass stone, slip-stone and a buffing wheel with jewelers rouge; preferable variable speed bench grinder). Other than that you will truly create better carvings, relief or in-the-round, in no time.
