The Most Reliable Triangle You’ll Ever Own

A Triangle to Trust for Generations to Come. Reasonable expectations of a new woodworking tool are that it's well made, works as advertised and will last for years when properly cared for. Woodpeckers latest OneTIME Tool, Precision 12" and 18" Triangles (a.k.a. carpenters squares), will meet these expectations and more. Most commonly available "carpenter squares" are stamped or molded by the thousands to meet the low-tolerance needs of framing carpenters. Contrast that with the +/-0.001" tolerance to which these Precision Triangles are machined and you’ll quickly appreciate how much more dependable they are for quality-conscious cabinet and furniture makers.

Rugged and Versatile. These triangles are a full 1/4" thick, cast aluminum tool plate and are anodized for long lasting protection and laser engraved with either 1/16" Imperial or 1mm metric scales. Our Precision Triangles feature a "foot" to easily index off the edge of stock or stand unassisted. You can check project assemblies or machine setups with both hands free to make adjustments. Our Precision Triangles are especially useful when calibrating Festool’s MFT table fence and guide rail.

While the foot is a very handy feature, it can sometimes get in the way. That’s why it quickly detaches by removing six screws. With the foot removed you can check your miter gauge to your table saw blade or chop saw fence to the blade at either 90° or 45°. You’ll find the "footless" triangle a handy feature in many other applications as well.

Our Precision Right Triangles Are Made . . . Right! These tools are made one-at-a-time, each machined from a solid piece of cast and ground aluminum tool plate. Once complete, every tool is carefully inspected on state-of-the-art video inspection equipment to assure dead-on angle and scale accuracy.

Choose From Two Sizes Or Order The Set! We offer our Precision Triangles in 12" and 18" sizes with inch or metric scales (12" or 300mm and 18" or 450mm). Either size makes a great addition to your tool collection, but each size has advantages over the other depending on the task at hand. After all, size does matter and bigger isn’t always better. That’s why we combine both sizes in a set that you can buy at a discount. Regardless of your choice, these triangles are also offered with an optional, wall mountable MDF case keeping them handy yet out of harms way.

    Order Now, Don’t Delay!
These Precision Triangles are part of Woodpeckers OneTIME Tool program and are only made to order. Deadline to place your order is October 16, 2017. Once the deadline passes and orders are filled, the product will be retired from our product line. Delivery is scheduled for January 2018.

    Made in U.S.A.

What are our OneTIME Tools? They’re the tools that our partners at Woodpeckers plan to run once. Often these are tools we ourselves would like but can’t put in full production. The process is simple; they build a couple, take some pictures and open a 10-20 day window for others to jump on the production run. Once they know how many to make, they get them done and move on to something else.

By buying a OneTIME Tool, you will own a limited run precisely machined tool that will make you the envy of all your woodworking friends, and you have a tool that will be used for generations. These tools are proudly made in the USA.
