F3 Finger Jointer to fit my D4R
It fits seemlessly onto my D4R and now lets me decide whether the project would look better with dovetails of finger joints....a word of caution on the 1/8" bits....they do not project down that far on my hitachi TR12 Router due to the thckness of the guide bracket underneath so have limited depth....small bits are best meant for thin timber say max of 5/16" thickness with that particular 1/8" router bit..BUT! it does a brilliant job and extremely easy to make various top quality finger joints with the F3 Template that look professional and have minimal blowout on the rear face....................

foolproof fingerjointers
I am not one to usually write reviews, but this template really blew me away in its ease of use and fast setup. I think I like it better than the jig itself (if that were possible). I do a lot of small boxes and/or boxes with small drawers and this jig helps me get all the finger joints right the first time. I was very skeptical of the e bushing at first, but now I am a believer... you can really dial the joints in tight. As someone with not a lot of time for mistake making, it's very important for me to make good on the time I have... this template allows me to do that.
