The three dimensional structure of this abrasive is made with cut fiber strands, coated with resin and abrasives. Each abrasive pad is only 1/8" thick for greater flexibility and ease of prepping those hard to reach places.

    Perfect for between coat scuffing.

    One of those rare products that has no real drawback. Kudos to Mirka! I use this under my PC half sheet sander to scuff the finish between coats of finish. It's the best product I've found to date for this application, especially for large surfaces like table tops. I also use it under a sanding block for smaller surfaces and edges. With the vacuum attachment on my PC half sheet there's virtually no dust. With a sanding block there's no clogging. Note - this is not a replacement for sandpaper. I still use sandpaper for flattening between coats, but follow it up with the micro fine Mirlon pad for perfectly consistent scuffing. It will also remove scratch marks left by sandpaper without marring the finish.

    Very pleased

    I am very pleased to see a product with a fine grit and only wish they would offer even finer grits.
