Worth the price
I was reluctant to buy this because of the price, but I'm glad I did. The price seems a little steep until you compare to the cost of other solutions. I paid almost three times this for a good mask with replaceable filters. The problem is that the mask splits at the nose and I've never made it past two filters. I bought one of the top brands twice, and still have a box of filters left. When you consider this one is washable and reusable, the cost is very reasonable. I was a little skeptical that it would filter the fine dust, but after several weeks of use, I've never had a problem. I do woodturning, and the sanding produces very fine dust. The mask does a great job of catching even the fine dust. Some people complained that they are not getting the dust filtered. I suspect they either have a mask that is too big or too small. Make sure you get a mask that matches your size.

I do not recommend using this mask in the wood shop. It's not NIOSH approved, and only filters to 3 micron. Also, it's quite expensive. After a year of use and clogged lungs I decided to get a NIOSH approved P100 respirator for heavy duty sawing, and N95 paper mask for lighter use. My lungs are much happier. This mask may be good for mowing the lawn but don't risk your health by using this mask in the wood shop.
