Due to the nature of wood movement, shrinkage and expansion are possible. Please measure each piece carefully before starting any project.
Wood is a product of nature, and as such, no two pieces are alike to start with, while the same wood growing in different locales can vary greatly even though it is the exact same species.
Thin Stock. The thin stock is cut to size from quality, kiln-dried stock. Dimensions are +/- 1/8" of size listed.
Carving and Turning Blocks. Blocks are sawn to +/- ¼" of size listed.
Plywood. Sizes are nominal. Dimensions are +/- 1/8" of size listed.
Satisfied with the piece of wood I got. However, don't run this wood through your thickness planer, It will tear out the "eyes". I was able to hand plane it further to just be a little thinner than I wanted to fix it, for the project I was doing.
Nice figure over most of the width.
This was part of my first mail order of lumber for woodworking. I was nervous that I would be sent pieces of dubious quality. This piece pleased me very much, even considering the price. The bird's eye figure, although not as intense as the product photo, is nice over about three-quarters of the width (the other quarter being rather plain). The dimensions were as advertised. The faces are flat, but they are not smooth because (I think) they are planed and the eyes are susceptible to chipping, so you need to sand to fix this and you'll lose a bit of thickness.

I use this product for small door panel
