Could be stronger.
I used these in the edge of a fixed shelf to catch two overlay doors. I picked them mainly because they would be out of the way of other type of magnetic catches. I am disappointed in the strength of the magnets. They barely hold the doors closed. I may have to add another type of catch if they become problematic.

LIKE THE DESIGN AND EASE OF INSTALLATION. MAGNET COULD BE STRONGER. INSTALLED ON DOOR OF WALL CLOCK.
