Kutzall Original tools feature SSG structured teeth, the most popular Kutzall coating. SSG teeth are very sharp, remove material rapidly, and do not load on most materials. These tools cut with many randomly-positioned teeth working simultaneously. They have a smooth cutting action and are very easy to control which makes them ideal for hand-held operations. They cut with very little head, and leave a smooth surface ready for final finish. The needle sharp points of tungsten carbide can be "dressed", just like a grinding wheel, to give an even smoother surface finish. The Grit coating is impact-resistant with outstanding wear life on the most punishing applications. These tools are excellent for grinding fiberglass and similar composites, working on soft tile and masonry or carving soft stone. Maximum RPM 28-30,000.

Woodenpumpkins

It’s the time of year when the air turns crisp and the colors abound in nature to inspire ideas as the holiday spirit starts to come alive with creativity in woodshops everywhere.  When we think of Autumn, the aromatic flavors of fall fill the air with pumpkin pies, apple desserts, canning for the upcoming winter months, kids playing in leaf piles, bonfires and sawdust!  Fall festivals with homemade goods featuring crafts and hot apple cider begin to pop up in many communities.  Many types of woodworking projects can also be found, like these pumpkin creations by woodworker, turner and carver, Rex Kenyon.  We asked Rex to create two different style pumpkins, one for Halloween and one for Thanksgiving, and here is what he came up with.  You’ve got to take a serious close-up look at these pumpkins shown left to determine if they indeed are fruit or wood!  How did Rex make these come to life?  Let’s find out!

    Excellent high speed rotary bits

These bits allow the user to hand carve even the hardest woods with speed and precision. These bits allow me to do in just a few minutes what might normally take hours using inferior or tools of comparable value that do not have the engineering of these Kutzall bits.

much better than the store brand !

We bought these with the dust collector box which also came with a few cut all types of bits . These were by far the superior . The store brand lost much of its small cutting edges in the first few minuets . These however were used for hours with no visible wear , and they are well centered . We are great advocates of the no name brands usually , here however we would tell you buy only the name brand . Good stuff inside! You will have years of carving pleasure from this set .

    pretty good little burrs

i am a knife maker. i use these burrs on rough work for the knife scales. just be careful around hardened steel the burr does not fair well.however, on wood they work as well as a rasp, takes extra material off very fast.

    Carving Burr set

I use the burrs for roughing out small three dimensional wood carvings. Especially handy for hard to get at places.
