It's a knob, what else is there to say
I'm using it to tighten lathe accessories to the lathe bed. The arms are a little small to get much grip, but for my use, it doesn't take much torque.

Quality product
I used these knobs in a combination sacraficial/tall fence that I made for my table saw. They worked well for securing the auxilary fence to the tablesaw fence.
