Cracked within days of turning and finishing

This wood is very pretty and unique. But I finished the project with this blank abs days later it is already showing some very aggressive cracking. Very dissatisfied

    Beautiful wood

I made a duck call with this. I was a little concerned after reading others had problems with it cracking after it had been turned. I am happy to report this is still as shiny and beautiful as the day I turned it.

    Beware

Beware! I am an experienced woodworker, over 35 years, worked with well over 100 species. This stuff went into environmental shock when wax coating was removed. Checked on every surface. It is now useless. I guess you could stabilize it with a bucket full of cyanoacrylate. Maybe.
