    Worked as advertised

    I installed these dampers on our kitchen cabinets that already had self-closing hinges. The one screw install was simple & straight forward. I did drill pilot holes using the damper as a guide. Using self-taping screws on hardwood really doesn't work too well. Bottom line - easy instal, easy adjustment and so far they all work.

    No More Cabinet Door Slam!

    I have been looking for a device like this for many years to prevent family members from slamming cabinet doors since I had a hand in either building or finishing these cabinets. I saw this device in a Woodcraft sales paper recently and I went "Eureka, there it is." I immediately ordered a dozen to try out. I have installed most on doors that get the most frequent use. My family members don't know they have been installed, but the doors are not slamming and I have peace of mind. They have been installed about 3 weeks so I don't know how long they will stand up. Since they are made in Germany I expect them to last my lifetime. They are working great, easy to install and to adjust the closing strength to prevent slamming of the door. I will be buying more.
