Hults Bruk’s Tarnaby is a small, all-purpose hatchet that is perfect for basic chores around the house, ranch or farm. The 1.25-lb. head weight and 15"-long handle make the Tarnaby a delightful companion for making kindling, lopping off branches, light clearing and use in the garden.

The Tarnaby Hatchet head is made from Swedish axe steel struck multiple times during shaping and forging, which increases both the density and durability of the hatchet head. Plus the head is constructed in such a way that there is a tempered zone designed to hold a very sharp edge even after years of use. Handle is American hickory treated with linseed oil. A leather sheath is included.
