    LEECRAFT Phenolic Inserts and Sheet Stock reduce splintering and chip-out on the bottom side of regular or dado table saw cuts. Simply raise your saw blade through the insert to create a "kerf" which precisely matches the blade on your saw. These 1/2" thick inserts are precision machined from a nearly frictionless melamine faced, high density phenolic laminate. Offer durability and flatness unobtainable from cheaper plastic inserts. Features like top mounted set screws for precise leveling, front/side adjustment screws for perfect side to side and front to rear fit, and a rear safety pin that keeps the rear of the insert in place, make this the best insert we have ever seen. Sheet stock material (1/2" x 11" x 15") is perfect for creating your own custom jigs and fixtures. Complete with instructions. Insert surface colors may vary.

      worth it but needed some fine tuning

      This is a good insert and probably about as good as you can expect. However it was not perfectly flat (but close) and needed to be sanded flat using sand paper clamped to the top of my table saw as a reference. This was necessary so the insert is completly flat and can be adjusted coplanar with the table saw top ensuring cuts remain square to the blade.

      Works Great on Jet Pro Shop Saw

      I purchased 3 of these inserts for my Jet Pro Shop table saw a few years ago. I got tired of off cuts slipping down through the standard insert. It also makes your cuts better by supporting the work piece on both sides all the way through the cut. These are phenolic with a groove already cut on the underside but you have to finish the cut by lowering the blade all the way, installing the insert and then clamp a piece of scrap over the top of the insert,off to the side away from the cut to ensure it's held down during the procedure. Then turn your saw on and slowly raise the blade to its full position. It's a little dicey at first but if you clamp it down on both side of your saw you shouldn't have any problems. I have a number of them. One, cut for my dado pack, one for thin kerf blades and one for standard (1/8") kerf blades. They are nice inserts. Heavy duty with 4 leveling screws and a nice smooth surface.

      Peace of mind

      Safety is enhanced when cutting small parts and the quality of cut is enhanced. My dust collection system also seems more efficient with less dust on the table top.

      RIGHT ON THE MARK SAW CUTS

      I AM MAKING JEWEL BOXES FOR MY 18 GRAND DAUGHTERS. WITH THIS 0 CLEARANCE INSERT I CAN MAKE PERCISION SAW CUTS. WHAT A GREAT ADDITION TO MY SHOP.

      SO FAR SO GOOD

      The blank was easy to install on my Jet Pro JPS-10. Cutting the kerf up through the blank was simple after clamping a board over the blank. Cutting through the phenolic sheet was a bit smelly though. Probably toxic. So far I have only used the insert a couple of times.

      I looked everywhere for this specific sized throat plate. [...] In no time I had it installed and fit to my saw. These guys are great. Thanks Woodcraft.

      no complaints

      I'm using this on my Jet Proshop table and it works great. It has all the adjustment set screws needed to fit perfectly. It's a great upgrade for improved cutting results.
