This professional-grade chisel is made by Fugikawa and features a thin layer of white steel laminated to a softer steel main body. The cutting edge is very durable, and the back is hollow ground to facilitate sharpening. This socket chisel is built for the toughest jobs, but is meant for fine woodworking. Handle is Japanese Red Oak topped with a black steel hoop. Hoop needs to be set.

    Poor quality!!

    The first chisel that arrived was too bent to be used. So I asked them to send me a new one. The new one was bent, too and the quality of the finish was terrible. Decided I'd try to fix it, which I was able to with way more effort than it deserved. The cutting edge is OK, but the rest of the chisel leaves a ton to be desired.
