Woodcraft Gives Tips for Working Smarter by Working Safer
Homeowners have grown increasingly hands-on when it comes to improving their homes. To help do-it-yourselfers work safely and successfully, Woodcraft offers these tips.

Forrest Saw Blades – NEW Cutting Edge Technology
The newest blade from Forrest Manufacturing is the 10″ Ply Veneer Worker with 70 Teeth, and is specifically designed to work with man-made materials in the plywood, vinyl clad, composite and veneer arena. Each tip is made from super hard, long life micro-grain carbide, and the ATB (35° Alternate Top Bevel) produces the smoothest cut ever seen in a hand-straightened saw blade. The 10° face hook allows for easier feed on table saws, and sides are chamfered to eliminate heat buildup and chip clearing. This thin (3/32″) kerf blade is 10″ in diameter and has a 5/8″ arbor. This blade is also available in standard (1/8″) kerf. For use on table saws and saws with slides. Made in the USA.

Not for woodturning...
Magnification area is way to small & low in the field of vision to be useful - unless you are only looking straight DOWN at your work. Wanted them for my lathe turnings - but just not going to work for that purpose.

Great Product
These safety glass are very helpful with detail work

For close work even when you are young
Surgeons and jewelers use loupes for magnification of very fine suture, small structures, etc. Don't be afraid to by these just for the magnification to see detail that you cannot see even with good eyes at 20 years old. You can do much, much finer work under magnification. It is your eye, not your hand, that limits you. Don't let the presbyopia word deter you from using them.

much better than the first design
first couple of generations had nose piece issues....wipe the lense and off came the nose pad. the integrated nose is good. the dark frame piece across the top is clear now too.

GRAET safty glasses!!!!
It's a must to wear safety glasses in a shop, may as-well have a pair on you can see with close-up.
-
Better Than Expected
I can now read my 6 inch scales to their smallest increments.

Great product! Light weight and great fi
Great! I do alot of scrollsawing and fretwok its great!
-
Good glasses
I like these glasses but I would like the bifocal to go up higher in the lens so I wouldn't have to tilt my head back to see details up close.
-
I would buy this product again
At times when sweating the lense will become foggy.
-
Good product, I will buy again
very clear and light to use
-
Poor fit w no adjustments
The idea is great but the fit is unusable for me, and no, I don't have a weird head. If the positioning was adjustable, or the bifocal grind were raised, the glasses would be usable as bifocals. As is, I would have to be reading something on my chest. As safety glasses alone, it's nice the grind doesn't get in your way...

These glasses are fantastic...
These glasses not only protect your eyes, they're comfortable and the bi-focul provides a little extra vision for all the close-up work. Fantastic!
-
good value
lightweight, functional by-focals, just a little less than comfy but NOT bad for the $$$.
-
I would buy another, if I needed one.
No need to wear reading glasses and then wear ordinary safety glasses over them.
