Nice, but tough to make without break
I've made 2 of these, and have experienced the same problem with both. That is the tight clearance between the pen blank and the tubes allow for the blank to crack or chip. Also because of that the brass tubes are transparent through the blank, but still look nice with the gold. Nice pen, little tolarance will break blanks.

Overall, I like the look and feel of this pen. I did, however, think the quality is lacking when compared to other rollerball kits. The completed pen just looks cheap. If you are looking for a quality rollerball kit, my recommendation is to pay the extra couple of bucks and get the Navigator or Metro instead.

Tube was tight in wood
after I drilled the hole and tryed to glue the tube in it got tight half way and had to make a new blank, I needed to sand the inside of the wood to get the tube to fit good. not sure if it was the drill bit our the tube that was the prob.
