This 120-grit, nickel-plated Diamond Wheel Dressing Truing Tool is an improved version of the original WoodRiver® tool we’ve sold for years. It features a new tougher plating process that holds the diamond chips more securely. Now, it’s even easier to take the hills and valleys out of your grinding wheels with a dressing surface 1/2" wide and 1-3/4" long; overall tool length is 4-5/8". Uniform reconditioning of your wheels is as simple as placing the dresser on your tool rest and contacting the wheel.
  • 120-grit Diamond Truing Tool
  • Dressing surface is 1/2" wide x 1-3/4" long
  • Durable and easy to use

    Good Value

Good value for the money. Saved me from having to locate a very hard to find 10x20x7/8 wet wheel. On a 220 grit surface, the 120 tool leaves it a bit rough, but it's sure a lot flatter than when I started. Wish it came in a 2 1/2" size for flattening large wheels (as the diamond pattern does not cover the whole face of the tool), and wish the handle was a bit longer.

    Works Great

Not sure where the other user was going wrong. I picked one of these up despite the bad review to see if I could make it work. For the price it was worth a shot given that a truing jig from tormek is 5 times the price of this item. The one downside is that the handle is too big to fit in the grinding jig I have so I simply brought the guide rail up close to the wheel so I could register the back edge of the tool against it then pitch it forward into the wheel. worked like a charm, wheel is back to flat, and i didnt spend $90 to do it

    Poor quality - Not flat

Dressing tool is not flat. Tool will destroy a flat wheel. Could not exchange - none of the remaing tools on the rack were flat - many worse the one I bought. Paid cash - would not refund in cash because item was over $10.00. Could only receive check in mail or gift card. Clerk said he would pull defective stock. Poor cash policy. $10.00 CASH RETURN POLICY NOT LISTED ON RECEIPT OR POSTED IN STORE. Never had a low cash return problem at any other store.
