Great design, bad quality
It’s a beautiful pen. I want to like it. However, the click button mechanic is needlessly complicated, and constantly sticks. I’ve gotten free pens from conference booths that were much higher quality. It doesn’t matter how well you design and turn your blank, if the hardware feels like plastic and the mechanism doesn’t work the finished product isn’t going to be worth selling or even giving away.

old be better
The pen is great looking. It fits together well and would be a wonderful kit if the components were of better quality. The kits I have built continually have problem with smoothly extending and retracting the refill. Also note you'll probably want to put a drop of ca on the pocket clip before pressing the cap. Nothing bugs me more than to have the pocket clip spin around loose. I love the concept of this pen and would gladly pay more for a higher quality product. As it sits it is barely adequate.

Check Your Bushings
I would have given this a higher rating if it weren't for the bushings. I ruined 3 blanks thinking that I there was glue in the barrels because the blanks wouldn't fit on the bushings. I reamed them out, finally using a round file. After turning and polishing the blanks, I found that the nib, center collar and clip had a loose fit. I then checked the fit of the bushings on an unsused tube and found that the bushing were oversize. I put them on the lathe and used a small file to turn them down. No problems since.

Solid, comfortable click pen
Better to order these by the pair - you can turn two blanks at a time on the lathe. It's very economical since you can make two/blank, and the cushion grip is very comfortable to write with. It uses Parker refills for smooth writing. Turners usually wish there were more room to show off material, but the cushion grip is actually very nice.

Comfortable Attractive Pen
Very simple to assemble. Uses 1/2 of a typically sized blank, so you can get 2 pens from one blank. Not quite as attractive having 1/2 the pen as a grip, but is more comfortable for it.
