Great Apron/Bad Straps
Sorry Woodcraft, this product gets an average rating from me. The Good: Use it for all types of woodworking (after you modify it). It is great for turning at the lathe. Quality leather and leather craftsmanship. The leather will protect your clothing from spills, stains, general dirt, dust, chips and the occasional sharp object. The small upper pockets are great for pencils note pads 6" rule, etc. The lower pockets are good for a tape measure and small tools that are too big for the upper pockets. Flaps keep out the dirt, dust and shavings. I have long slender hands so I don't have the issue that another reviewer had re; his hands not fitting in the lower pockets. However, if you have big hands I can see where you might have some trouble. The length is good because you can bend, squat or kneel without binding up at the knees. The Bad: The straps are too thin and too slippery. This means the buckles won't hold/keep the straps tight because they twist inside the buckle. I was constantly adjusting and re-tightening. I finally cut the straps off and bought some WIDE elastic clip on suspenders from one of the big work wear retailers and (now) it is a 1st class apron. For the money W/C is charging this is NOT a good buy considering you'll have to spend more to modify and bring it up to snuff.

The best leather apron for the money
I just received the apron today and am very pleased. Strong leather but very pliable. The large breast pocket is big enough for your safety glasses. The two large pockets are a little tight, but still usable. Also, the way it fastens is much better than others I have seen on line, using mostly leather shoelaces and costing a lot more money with less features. Really a great product!!

Unless you have a leather sewing machine
The top large pocket is stiff, unconfortable, and doesn't allow the apron to hang freely. The two covered lower pockets are worthless. If you put anything in them your hand won't fit inside to retrieve the article.
