Chappell Universal Square & Rule Company was the first to combine a center rule with a square, and now Chappell has introduced a line of center rule and gauging bench squares for the cabinetmaker, furnituremaker and general woodworker. Center rules work great for detail layout when working from center lines, while gauging squares are ideal for intricate layout and also for setting tools to the perfect 90°. This Chappell Universal Center Square is made from rugged, 13-gauge #304 stainless steel, is deep etched for long life, and is guaranteed to be square within .003". All the squares are in 1/16ths. Made in the USA.

    As good as they come

    This is a ver high quality tool. And while I have no use for the larger size, I'm definitely going to order the smaller one to go with the middle-sized one that I have.
