Each 2/83" thick sheet measures 48" in length and 4-1/2" to 6-1/2" in width. The convenient 12 square foot packs are perfect for applications both large and small. All pieces of veneer in a pack will be the same width. Spanish Cedar veneer is pinkish brown with shades of red with thin red latewood (outer edge of tree) lines. This tropical hardwood has the cedar aroma that repels insects and is often used in humidors and drawers. When flat cut, it generally exhibits a straight grain with distinctive thin red latewood lines. Spanish Cedar wood veneer will accept stains and finishes well but is most often finished with a clear coat that preserves the warmth and accentuates the color and beauty of the wood’s natural grain.
