Whether you’re a hobbyist or a furnituremaker, you’ll be delighted with the results you get with this all natural wood veneer by Sauers and Company. Spanish Cedar veneer is pinkish brown with shades of red with thin red latewood (outer edge of tree) lines. This tropical hardwood has the cedar aroma that repels insects and is often used in humidors and drawers. When flat cut, it generally exhibits a straight grain with distinctive thin red latewood lines. Spanish Cedar wood veneer will accept stains and finishes well but is most often finished with a clear coat that preserves the warmth and accentuates the color and beauty of the wood’s natural grain. This unique 1/16" thick wood veneer was specially cut to appeal to scroll sawers, but it works equally well with all the laser systems on the market. We have found the veneer makes great lining for humidors and other craft projects. Each pack contains 3 square feet of unbacked veneer ranging in size from 4-1/2" to 7-1/2" in width by 24" in length.
