The RH Preyda Arkansas Waterstone in 8000 grit is a polishing stone – the last stop for some and a step for others. We found this stone to be somewhat aggressive, perhaps more than a true polishing stone should be, so we think it is a fine step if you are going to use a higher grit stone on your edge. Stone measures 8" x 3" x 1" and, like traditional waterstones, requires soaking prior to use. Stone comes in a durable base that helps to minimize slipping in use.

Introducing RH Preyda Arkansas Waterstones. Traditionally Novaculite or Arkansas Stones are cut from the earth, and the material is graded for hardness/density and cut into usable shapes. What is unusable is returned to the earth – still unusable except as fill. RH Preyda had a different vision: take the unusable and crush it, grade it, mix it up into mud, form bricks, and fire it to make Arkansas Waterstones.

Stones come in a range of grits from 400 to 8000 grit (a 10,000 grit is promised soon).

Features:

• 8000 Grit

• Size: 8" x 3" x 1"
