This fabulous aluminum turning kit can be used to create one-of-a-kind heirloom Christmas ornaments or add accents to your hollow forms or lidded box turnings by incorporating just the 3-1/4" finial. Constructed from lightweight, 6061-T6 aluminum, this kit measures 5-3/4" overall length and can be adjusted to a maximum length of 6-3/4" by simply adjusting the 2-1/2" long 10-32 threaded rod. Turning an ornament has never been easier! Simply mill a piece of turning stock to your desired size, mark centers and bore a 3/4" through hole, mount on your four jaw chuck, turn your desired profile, apply a finish of your choice, and assemble. An awesome 30-minute project!
