The VERSA/Deck from Akro-Mils is a great way to move heavy items around your shop. Its deck is constructed of HDPE molded, non-skid structural foam which is extremely easy to clean, and it won’t rot, chip, or rust. Jam bolts, standard on all models, hold handles in place. There are four handy tie down slots to help secure items during transport (tie downs sold separately). This versatile material mover features steel reinforcements under its 30” x 60” deck for added strength.
This model features a 1 crossbar handle and 8” thermoplastic casters. Thermoplastic casters are great on concrete floors, asphalt, brick, and ceramic tile, and are ok on carpet or steel grating. They are a perfect option for wet or slippery conditions, and chemicals are no problem. Thermoplastic will also not mar your surfaces, so choose this caster if floor protection is high on your priority list. 8” thermoplastic casters are able to hold up to 800 lbs. (based on evenly distributed loads on all four casters).
