    Ruby waters

    This block makes beautiful pizza cutter and ice cream scoop handles, also great wine bottle stoppers! I just wish it came in 12” lengths.

    Beware that this is translucent once turned.

    I bought this blank because of its color but actually wanted it to make some pen blanks out of. The first section of blank I turned was very translucent. I was able to see the brass tube inside. So, I did a second section and painted the inside of it before inserting the tube. This blank makes beautiful pen blanks. It turned and finished very nice! Just beware that you can see whatever you put inside of it.
