Our Professional Garden Machete is a superb tool for a variety of chopping jobs around the home and garden. Campers, fishermen and hunters will also appreciate the razor sharp edge for cutting firewood, splitting kindling and other camp jobs. The blade is hand-forged Hitachi Yasuki "white" steel inlaid on to soft steel forming a single bevel, and then carefully tempered to Rockwell c64. The handle is made from Japanese White Oak and is angled to the blade to reduce user fatigue and stress to the elbow. It is flared at the end to create a stronger grip and lessen chances of the hand slipping. A vinyl covered case with belt loop is included with each machete. Blade length is 8˝, & overall length is 15˝
