Trim head screws have heads 1/3 smaller than their flathead counterparts. You'll find them handy for stair threads, case assembly and installing crown molding and trim. These hardened steel screws are tough and their fine threads grip well in most woods without splitting. Yellow zinc plating resists staining when countersunk into acidic woods such as oak. Trim Head screws' small head 7/32 diameter is easy to hide with filler or 1/4 inch plug. #1 Square Drive.

    A great product I've used for many years

    I use these screws to reinstall baseboard molding after it has been refinished. It makes a simple job that requires no filling on my oak molding with a golden oak/provincial stain. This type of attachment allows for the removal of the baseboard at any time for any reason. I no longer have to mess around with prying off nailed baseboards and damaging the walls.
