The WoodRiver® Large Display Digital Caliper - 6" digital display is easy to read, even for those of us who have "mature" eyes! Display numerals are 7/16" tall and overall the display screen is 1-9/16" x 1/2". Performs all the standard functions - inside, outside, depth measurement and instant conversion from imperial to metric. Plus these calipers feature a hold button that maintains the displayed measurement even if the sliding jaw moves. This allows you to take measurements in areas where reading the display is difficult or impossible and simply push the hold button, remove the calipers and read the measurement that was displayed when the hold button was engaged. If you've ever tried to take an accurate measurement of a table saw's arbor through the throat opening you can appreciate the value of this function!

Great product
I have products with dial indicator and as I get older, I am converting to digital and this has a pretty good sized readout. It has proven to be accurate and easy to read so it has slightly speeded up my work and also increased the accuracy.

6" digital caliper
This is a perfect tool for measurements in my shed when I'm working on projects. The 3 place decimal is sufficient, it's small and compact, and makes for a quick and simple depth gage.

I use this produce for reloading ammunition that require accurate measurements. I really enjoy the digital display and the hold button option once measured.

This caliper surpassed my expectations.
The large display is easily read. The hold function is great for difficult to reach and read applications. The hold function holds if you turn off the caliper as well so your information is not lost. As a cabinet maker this is great addition to my tools. I chucked my old calipers.
