Our 45ø Adjustable Chamfer Plane is used to plane chamfers from 0˝ to 1˝ in width. Its unique feature is the sliding carriage which houses the plane blade. The carriage can be moved from side to side to utilize the entire width of the blade. The sides of the plane body create automatic stops to ensure exceedingly smooth, even chamfers. The Grade AA blade is a hand-forge lamination individually tempered to Rockwell c65ø. The body is made from Japanese White Oak by Nashiya Mokko. The 45° angle is suitable for planning elegant chamfers. The blade length is 7-7/8˝ and blade width is 1-1/4˝.
