The Bormax Forstner Bit's new design features razor-sharp, wave-form cutting teeth that work cooler, require less power, and produce less friction. The result: more efficient cutting and an improved finish from a bit that lasts 9 to 10 times longer that traditional Forstner bits. Side clearance on the bit provides tear-free, accurate holes in both soft and hardwoods. The 13/16" bit is 3-1/2" long. Shank is 5/16". Made in Germany.

Odd sized forsner bit that works very well with a meteric fitting used to secure shelving in composite wood products. No signs of scoring or scorching during boring and bit worked well at medium to high speeds
