The 1" to 2-1/2" Bi-Metal Hole Saw Set is manufactured with a heavy-duty backing plate for superior rigidity. M3 high-speed steel heat-treated teeth are electron-beam welded to the blade body for strength and consistent blade hardness. 4/6 variable tooth pitch gives efficient and safe cutting of metal, plastic and wood. MIBRO'S EZE Slot is designed for quick and easy plug removal on all blades with a diameter of 1-3/4" (45 mm) and larger. EZE Slot allows for quick and easy removal of the largest plugs. Our stepped slot gives leverage just where you need it for easy plug removal and our 1-3/4" (45 mm) cutting depth cuts through a 2" (51 mm) x 4" (102 mm) in one pass.
