Poor quality
Gave this to my father as a gift. Put chuck together and found it had a lot of wobble do to the inside taper of the chuck and the out side taper of the shaft were different. Got it centered on the shaft and now the chuck itself does not hold the bit centered. I will be returning it to the store. Hopefully this is just a bad one that slip through quality control.

Just what I needed
I make small parts for models that I build on my bench lathe. In the tailstock, it is useful for drilling. In the headstock, it is useful for holding small pins or dowel rod. I have two of these so I can do both operations at the same time when necessary. It is simple to use and well made.
