This much requested class is back into reality. Professional cabinet maker Eric Stone will take you through the critical steps of creating beautiful cabinetry. You will learn the necessary tools and equipment to most cabinet projects, including design setup, cabinet components, materials including plywood and hardwood, cut preparation including measurements, cut list for cabinet parts, carcass assembly, face frame assembly, drawer and door construction, final assembly and finishing. Sign up soon as there are only 10 open spots for the class and it usually fills up fast.

Resident expert Chip Siskey will teach a class that is a must for the beginner, or a jumpstart to someone who has been trying to learn as they go. In this class, we will focus on safe lathe operation with discussion of lathes, drive centers, chucks, and other available accessories. We will discuss woodturning tools you may already have or have run across, and those available comparing the usefulness and quality of the metals. Our focus will turn to the seven basic tool where we will discuss when and how to use each one. We will finish with some hands on experience to ensure you grasp the proper tool presentation and use for each of these tools. There are so many tools available, the class will help you to select the correct tools for the projects you wish to complete. If you have tools, bring them but they are not necessary.
