It’s that time of year when summer vacation is over and all the kids return to school. But it doesn’t stop there! It’s time for you to head back to school too! Woodworking school at Woodcraft that is! All of our Woodcraft stores offer classes in every venue of woodworking, including hand and power tool education, wood art, pen turning and much more. Check out all the classes on-line on our Education Page. Choose your State, zip code, or class listings by category:
Click “Go” and the Classes by State page will appear. Click on “View Classes” for your State location.
A list of offered classes page will come up, as in this Virginia Beach/Norfolk Virginia example below. By clicking on the “Details” will give you another full page of information on that particular class including instructor, dates, times, tuition, skill level, and sign up information. These are the August through October 2011 classes being offered by the Norfolk Virginia store. Note there are 2 pages of information that can be found in this instance. Page 1 is shown below:
For example if you choose the “Details” on the Dwarf Tall Clock with Allan Breed class, this page will appear, giving you all the information you will need on this particualr class. Allen Breed is a nationally renown 18th century Period Furnituremaker that will be teaching this class at the Norfolk Virginia Woodcraft in October.
If you were to choose the “Back to Basics” class with Richard Raffan, you would find these details shown below. Richard Raffan is a nationally renown woodturner that will be teaching his wood art in October at the Norfolk Virginia Woodcraft store.
There are many fine classes to choose from, so you may as well just take them all!
Some celebrity guest appearances are also scheduled as visits or class instruction.
Rob Cosman, will be teaching at our Seattle store on September 21st, Cincinnati store on October 13th & 14th, and the Denver store on December 4th, 8th and 9th.
Scott Phillips will be demonstrating at the Cincinnati store on September 29th, Columbus store November 5th, and the Dayton store on November 6th.
Tommy MacDonald will be demonstrating at the Appleton Wisconsin store on October 7th and 8th, the Cleveland Ohio Woodcraft store on November 12th, and at The Woodworking Shows in Denver, Baltimore, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Columbus, St. Louis, Milwaukee, New England, Fredericksburg, and Tampa.
Here is a great class coming up at the Woburn Massachusett’s Woodcraft store with Scott Dixon on building an Acoustic Guitar starting on September 12th and running for 5 consecutive Monday’s.
