Make Woodcraft your Father’s Day shopping headquarters. Scott Phillips, co-host of The American Woodshop with his wife Suzy, makes it easy with his Father’s Day Gift Guide – nearly three dozen suggestions from Woodcraft’s line of woodworking tools, accessories and supplies.
Teams of makers are invited to enter the Makerspace Contest on Instructables.com to win some of the $50,000 worth of prizes donated by Woodcraft, Epilog Laser, Ultimaker, Dremel, and Digi-Key Electronics. The online contest opened June 1 and will close end of day Aug. 31, 2017.
Take a new direction in Mother’s Day gifting this year, and check out two projects from Black Dog Salvage, a Woodcraft partner that specializes in the reclamation, repurposing and resale of architectural, commercial, and industrial elements and fixtures. The Roanoke, Virginia-based company has its own DIY-TV show – Salvage Dawgs – and also creates custom pieces from salvaged items.
Visitors to the all-new Woodcraft Magazine website will find a “hot-off the press” format with much more content that is now searchable, including downloadable features. In addition, woodworkers and viewers alike will be invited to post responses to articles, blogs and videos.
