    The 7/8" Forstner bit is not big enough for the kiss to set in so I used a 1". Just be very precise when locating the center, or just add another 1/8" to the width of the "limbs". Great project, I made 5 to give away.

    My first was out of Rock Maple and Black Plam turned out nice. Then I made a couple out of poplar and painted them green, I liked the green much better. Really a great project.
