Two of the finest wood shows are coming back to Ohio during the first two weekends in November.

(See the WIA special money saving entrance coupon at the end of this blog from Woodcraft!)

First is the Woodworking in America Show (WIA) in Cincinnati Ohio, November 1-4, 2012. Although it is technically being advertised as the Mid-West show in Cincinnati, Ohio, it is actually at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, Kentucky. Featured woodworking speakers will be Roy Underhill, promoting his traditional use of hand tools. Master cabinetmaker Frank Klausz will be teaching on hand-cut dovetails. From the Marc Adams School of Woodworking, Marc will be covering the many venues of woodworking. Windsor Chairmaker, Curtis Buchanan will also be lecturing.

Show hours are as follows:
Thursday, November 1: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Friday, November 2: 7:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday, November 3: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Sunday, November 4: 8:45am – 11:00am

Now if you’ve never seen Roy Underhill’s charismatic woodworking charm, then you’ve missed out. So here is just a small snip-it with Roy demoing SawStop’s technology with no, not a hot dog, but a leg of country fried chicken!
