Missouri Woman Wins $1,000 Woodcraft Gift Card

Janet Boettcher and her family can choose from more than 20,000 tools, accessories and supplies to purchase with her $1,000 Woodcraft Gift Card. 

Janet Boettcher of O’Fallon, Missouri, is Grand Prize winner in the “Set Up Shop with Woodcraft” Sweepstakes sponsored by Today’s Homeowner and Woodcraft.

Contest entrants were required to answer the question: How would you set up shop with a $1,000 Woodcraft Gift Card? Entries were accepted from August 6 through September 2 at www.todayshomeowner.com/sweepstakes. Boettcher’s entry was selected during a random drawing of more than 4,000 entries a few days later.

“I am so excited to have won!” Boettcher said. Before she entered the sweepstakes, Boettcher said she went online to learn more about Woodcraft and found the Woodcraft of St. Louis store. “I didn’t know that Woodcraft was that close to my house.”

Boettcher is not sure exactly what she will buy with her gift card, but she said she will use it “to make my life more organized and to enjoy my hobbies more.” In her winning entry, Boettcher mentioned establishing a workshop in her basement and possibly taking some woodworking classes.

Family members will share the workshop, so Boettcher said, “I am sure they will help me pick out what to buy at Woodcraft!”
