Woodcraft Encourages Woodworkers and DIYers To Enter General Finishes 2018 Design Challenge

Woodcraft is one of several retail sponsors for the General Finishes 2018 Design Challenge that began July 18 and will continue through August 7.
“The General
Finishes Design Challenge is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in
using paint to change the look of furniture or other items to reflect their own
personalities and preferences,” Woodcraft Public Relations Manager Lori Harper,
said. “It’s a chance to have fun making
something unique for your own home or to give away – and maybe win a prize.”
Harper speaks
from experience. She updates and repurposes furniture on a regular basis,
blogging most of her projects to share with Woodcraft customers on
woodcraft.com.
To transform the dresser pictured above, she painted
the top with Black Dog Salvage Furniture Paint in Dog Bone and Clean Canvas
colors with General Finishes Driftwood Milk Paint dry brush detail. For the dresser she
used the Black Dog Salvage Furniture Paint Peacock color recipe made from two
parts Keep It Teal and 1 part Blue Ridge. To see how she did it, visit her blog “Peacock Pretty Paint Job.”
