A Handscrew Helper

Wooden handscrews are great for a variety of clamping chores, but I also find myself reaching for them when I need to sand or machine small parts. Their long reach and solid grip allow you to safely perform otherwise dicey operations like routing or power-sanding the edges of small blocks. They’ll keep your fingers out of harm’s way, and the wooden jaws won’t damage an expensive cutter in case of accidental contact.
