Adam Unsell

Adam is relatively new to turning, but is a fast learner. He has blossomed into a full fledged turner, doing everything from small bowls and rolling pins, to platters. He has also become well versed in tool sharpening and teaches our classes on both the Wolverine and Tormek sharpening systems.

Chuck Nestander

We affectionately refer to Chuck as "Mr Knowledge". He has a broad knowledge of woodworking and is our resident expert on finishing. Chuck has also developed a unique way of turning wooden bracelets on the lathe. He has taught several classes and has more coming up. Stop by the store and learn the best finish for your project or sign up for one of his classes.

Billy Pratt

Billy has been working with wood for more than twenty years. He started out of necessity when his fifty-year old house needed repairs. He learned carpentry the hard way, trial and error. Later learned some finer points from experienced carpenters. He got into woodworking a few years later and started making boxes, picture frames and shadow boxes, and small furniture. He enjoys turning pens and small bowls. His latest area of focus has been making beautiful boxes with his bandsaw and teaching others how to do the same. His favorite woodworking book is one on finishing by Bob Flexner, which Billy credits with “telling me everything I know worth knowing about finishing.”

Mike Forrest

Mike is an accomplished woodworker and has knowledge in many fields. But his passion is turning. there is rarely a day that goes by that he isn't turning. He has been a great help in our new pen projuct, turning the bulk of the samples. Any questions you may have from turning techniques to a super glue finish, Mike is the guy to see.
